# A fully featured B2B portal.
In under 100 days.

Your wholesale buyers don’t want to call a sales rep to place an order in 2026. **b2matic** is a fixed-scope, fixed-timeline B2B eCommerce implementation built on BigCommerce — so your team stops managing orders by email and your buyers get a portal that actually works.

**Most B2B portals take 9 to 18 months and die somewhere between “the brief” and “the budget conversation.”**

b2matic exists because that timeline is a choice, not a constraint. We’ve done this enough times to know what a working B2B portal actually needs — and what it doesn’t.

## What you get

What you get #### **A production-ready B2B portal. Not a pilot.**

**b2matic** is scoped around what mid-market B2B brands actually need at launch:**Fully branded storefront** — Your logo, colors, and custom page layouts. A store that looks like yours.

- **Buyer-specific pricing** — Account-level price lists, contract pricing, and customer group discounts, configured and tested.
- **Custom catalog visibility** — Show the right products to the right buyers. No workarounds, no hacks.
- **Purchase orders & net terms** — Because your buyers don't pay with a card at checkout.
- **Quoting** — Request, review, and convert quotes without leaving the portal.
- **Company accounts, roles & permissions** — One account, multiple buyers, role-based access. Your buyers' org chart, reflected in the portal.
- **Multi-company hierarchy** — Parent companies, subsidiaries, and divisions — all under one roof, each with their own rules.
- **Sales rep assignment & masquerade** — Your reps can view and act on behalf of any buyer account. They stay in the loop without owning the transaction.
- **Multi-store, multi-currency, multi-language** — Built for brands operating across markets. One implementation, global-ready.
- **Reorder & order history** — The feature your buyers will use every single week.
- **Mobile optimized** — Not "responsive." Actually tested, actually works on a phone. In 2026 this shouldn't need saying, and yet.
- **ERP connectivity***(Growth & Advanced)* — Pre-built connectors for NetSuite, Acumatica, Business Central, Epicor P21, Epicor Eclipse, and Infor. Covers companies, orders, customers, and products.

#### The Timeline

**Day 1 — Kickoff & discovery** We map your catalog, pricing logic, account structure, and integration requirements. No surprises at week 8.

**Days 2–30 — Build** Environment setup, theme configuration, pricing rules, catalog visibility, account hierarchy. We build to spec, not to assumption.

**Days 31–60 — Integrations & QA** ERP sync, payment methods, net terms logic, rep assignment. Full regression testing. Your team reviews.

**Days 61–100 — UAT & launch** You test with real buyers. We fix. We launch. You go live with a portal that works on day one, not day one hundred.

### Tip: What Happens After Day 90

Going live is the beginning of the useful part.

Most b2matic clients move to [**Fuego**](https://www.takefortytwo.com/en/solutions/fuego/) — our monthly agency subscription — within the first quarter after launch. Fuego gives you access to our full team, from strategy to execution, to keep your portal growing: new buyer segments, new integrations, CRO, SEO, design iteration, and everything in between.

One fixed monthly engagement. No long-term contracts. No ticket queues. It’s a different paradigm, moving from the occasional high-budget project into a healthy habit of improving your online channels, one day at a time.

## Everything You Want to Know Before You Commit

Why BigCommerce and not Shopify? Both are solid platforms, and we work with both. If you want Shopify, we’ll build it on Shopify — and in some architectures, both platforms can coexist, each handling a different channel. That’s one of the genuine advantages of headless commerce.

The reason b2matic is built on BigCommerce is simple: BigCommerce B2B Edition has the most complete native feature set for mid-market wholesale — buyer-specific pricing, quoting, PO management, company hierarchy — without requiring custom development to get there. For the scope and timeline b2matic promises, it’s the more reliable foundation.

Is 100 days realistic?Yes — with conditions. The timeline holds when the client is available for reviews, catalog data is clean, and integration specs are confirmed by week 2. We’ve seen projects slip because of delayed content, not because of the build. We’ll be direct with you during scoping if your situation introduces timeline risk.

What does "simple ERP integration" mean exactly? It means a pre-built connector exists for your ERP (NetSuite, Acumatica, Business Central, Epicor P21, Epicor Eclipse, or Infor), and we configure it to sync companies, orders, customers, and products. Two things to know: connector licenses may involve additional third-party costs, and any custom sync logic beyond the standard fields is scoped separately before work begins.

What does "fully featured" mean exactly? It means your buyers can log in, see their prices, browse their catalog, create a quote, place an order on net terms, and track their order history — on day 91. It does not mean every possible B2B feature ever shipped. The scope is fixed and documented. Anything outside it is a change order.

Do you work with brands that already have a BigCommerce store?Yes. b2matic can be built on top of an existing storefront or as a separate B2B channel. We’ll recommend the right architecture during scoping.

What if we need a custom integration that's not on your list? We’ll scope it. Custom integrations are priced separately and added to the project agreement before build starts. No surprises.

Do you offer payment plans?Standard terms are 50% on project start, 50% on launch. For Advanced engagements we can discuss milestone-based billing.

Can we see a demo?Yes. Book a scoping call — we’ll run the demo there, tailored to your catalog and buyer structure. A generic demo wastes everyone’s time. A scoping call answers the questions that actually matter.
